Wildlife abounded in these 'Enchanted Isles'. Large colonies of sea lions, sea turtles, giant land tortoises, and a variety of marine birds, inhabited the rocks and crags in the harbors.
The seals liked playing between our hulls at night, and often wandered into our cockpit via the sugarscoops, so we had to block their entry with weighted buckets.
The boys spent 4-5 hours daily, surfing the excellent waves behind the boat with the playful seals alongside them.
